there's a huge debate going on now, actually, because facebook just recently banned pictures of women breastfeeding their children from the site. ...some people are really upset and there are groups dedicated to trying to get the policy overturned because breastfeeding is "a natural and BEAUTIFUL part of human life and should be displayed for the world to see". but what i've learned is that facebook didn't actually ban breastfeeding photos, they just banned certain types of shots... like, ones where you can blatantly see nipple? so, basically just the ones that violate the already standing and accepted facebook picture terms. ...it's crazy. if i uploaded a picture of myself RIGHT NOW, sans bra, obviously it'd get taken down. but people are putting up equivalent pics with a baby in there, and they're thinking it's kosher. (full on nudity = obviously not ok, but full on nudity + baby = ok? ....really, people??) ehhh... well, i thought it was interesting.

ReplyDeletewoah, i didnt know that.
ReplyDeletei just think its like a private thing & you are essentially exposing yourself in public...
so bizarre.
i think that's the title of dana cannon's biography.
ReplyDeleteI think that breast feeding in public is more natural than girls flaunting their cleavage everywhere.
ReplyDeleteHello, that's what breasts are FOR. They're not there for decoration...
